The Sarasota County Sports Commission (www.sarasotafl.org/sports)
reports that the Suncoast Super Boat Grand Prix Festival, which
took place over the July 4, 2011 weekend, drew more than 100,000
race fans to the week-long festival, and made an estimated
economic impact to the area of $12.7 million.
